Chevron Corporation ("Chevron") respects the confidentiality of information relating to identified or identifiable individuals, and it is Chevron’s policy to guard against unauthorized or improper disclosure of any such information.

This Privacy Statement relates only to Chevron’s willyoujoinus.com discussion forum (the "Forum"), and not to any other websites of Chevron, its affiliates, or any other entity. The Forum and messages posted to the Forum may contain links to other websites, including some sites administered by Chevron or administered by other companies on behalf of Chevron, as well as to websites unrelated to Chevron. Collection and Use of Personal Information

Chevron does not collect personal information about visitors to the Forum, except in connection with the registration process as stated in the Terms and Conditions. The personal information you provide upon registration, including your email address, will be used for the purpose of corresponding with you regarding the Forum, for delivering relevant Forum content to you, and for improving the operation of the Forum. Aside from use for such administrative matters, your personal information may also be used to notify you of new discussions, site features, and special events relating to the Forum. The personal information will not otherwise be used to market products or services to you, and will not be shared with third parties (other than contractors, as described in the "Contractors" section of the Terms and Conditions).

Chevron is a global enterprise and personal information collected by Chevron through the Forum may be transferred among our various divisions and affiliated companies around the world, which may involve transfer from countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) to countries outside the EEA. You can access the Forum and browse it without disclosing any personal information. However, if you wish to post a message to the Forum, you must first register as stated in the Terms and Conditions.

Automatic Collection of Information

Chevron may store some information (commonly known as a "cookie") on your computer when you look at or use the Forum. If you register with the site, we use the cookie to understand better how you use and interact with the site, and deliver the most relevant content to you. Modifying/Deleting Your Personal Information

You may edit the personal information provided during the registration process at any time by logging onto the Forum and selecting Edit Profile. Through this procedure, you may delete all of the personal information other than your email address and screen name. To have your entire profile deleted from the Forum’s database (including your email address and screen name), visit the Contact Us page and select I have a general comment or question.

This Privacy Statement is effective as of November 1, 2007. Chevron reserves the right to modify the Privacy Statement at any time. When we make changes to the Privacy Statement, we will change the “Last Updated” date at the top and bottom of the Privacy Statement.
